British Council Collection Gathering Rooms is a community platform around the collections. This is a platform that is more than simply visiting an online collection but rather an experience that allows users to spend time in it discovering, engaging, gathering, and being creative.
We propose a generous interface that creates various choices for the visitor to explore the collection and the digital content.In addition to the option of the traditional archival model, a user may discover the collection by visiting gathering rooms, user pages, or the artwork suggestion generator. We imagined gathering rooms of artwork/artist/theme/curation created by users or the BCC team, in which a user can interact with both artworks and other users.
